  This is my second place to get pizza. It's a bit of a trip for me so it's not my first choice. But most importantly, it is far behind Linwood's Pizza in Randolph MA.
  
  Many years ago, it's quality was much better, when it was on the second floor of a building in the center of town. But they lost something in the move to their own building down the street. They went from having excellent pizza (still second to the other place) to average pizza.
  
  IMHO, their crust is too think and soft for bar pizza. And their cheese mix is decidedly undelicious. Still, if you want an average but tasty pizza, give them a try.

  This is a spot loved by locals  for some good bar pizza, salad and fries. Also, they have some daily specials such as American Chop Suey.
  
  Too often the service is inconsistent. Some are good servers, some just going through the motions.
  
  Last visit, after the lunch hour we arrived, got seated and didn't see out waitress for 10 minutes. No acknowledgement of the wait. Ordered fries as an app, 15 minutes later she dropped them off said "enjoy" and took off before I could ask for ketchup, finally walked over to the bus station and grabbed it myself. Pizza and salad that followed was good.
  
  Then as is often the case here getting the bill is an adventure, took another 10 minutes.
  
  For those that have never been here or TD been a while this place is CASH only

  Sweet potato fries were the only thing I ate that weren't soggy, one star for those. Plus they pack people in, & the people are loyal so second star for that.
  
  I'm a complete newbie to this south shore bar pizza thing but as an outsider this is possibly some of the weirdest but fascinating fan loyalty for bad food I've seen.
  
  I got "all the veggies" which apparently pineapple is now a vegetable. It was a huge mistake because it was soggy central, even though I ordered it crispy.
  
  If you're going to get anything here i think it's this -- cheese pizza extra crispy with lace crust.
  
  I would recommend this place if you're really stoned with a serious need to cure the munchies or if you're a loyal fan. Otherwise it's probably best to try somewhere else.

  Definitely one of the best bar pizzas on the south shore. The wait here is crazy so definitely try and sit at the bar if it's just you and someone else. Service is good. Greek salad is also really tasty. Make sure to ask for a side of honey mustard with whatever you order because it's amazing.

  I met my friend at Town Spa about 4:00 in the afternoon.  We had to wait briefly for a booth which was not a problem.  This is always a good sign that shows the place is popular. I ordered a scoop of tuna salad with some tomatoes and lettuce and l and my friend ordered a mushroom pizza.  We were served on a timely basis. The waitress was attentive as she stopped by a couple of time to check up on us.  The bill was just under $20.00, about what I would have expected for the two of us.  I would certainly return if I was in the neighborhood.
